02/03/2015
  • Continental’s TrukFix emergency road service expands to include light mechanical and towing services
  • TrukFix service is free to all Continental commercial tire national account customers

Fort Mill, South Carolina, February 3, 2015. TrukFix, Continental’s emergency road service for commercial tire national account customers, has expanded its services to include light mechanical and towing in addition to existing emergency tire services.

Managed by an award-winning provider, the TrukFix toll-free hotline, 877-TRUKFIX, is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week and staffed by agents with extensive knowledge of Continental truck tires.

“Expanding the TrukFix services offered enables our national fleet customers to quickly access a network of over 1,000 commercial tire dealers and service outlets who are able to assist during both tire and non-tire-related emergency roadside situations,” said Alex Chmiel, Continental’s director of marketing for truck tires in the Americas. “We know time is valuable to our fleet customers and hope those who utilize TrukFix are able to get back on the road faster than ever before.”

All Continental commercial tire national account customers are automatically enrolled in the TrukFix program and may access the free service 24/7 by calling 877-TRUKFIX, or on the Truck Tire Dealer Locator App for iPhone®.

In the event of a breakdown, drivers can make one quick phone call to TrukFix and be directed to an approved Continental dealer or service outlet. Pricing and billing to the fleet for tire, light mechanical and towing services is regulated and handled through Continental’s National Account and ContiFleet small operator programs.
